One such youth is Shobhit Kumar, who has turned his interest in making utensils into business. Apart from Shobhit Prayagraj, they also send their products to other districts and states and are successfully running a local level company.
In Shobhit Kumar’s company, traditional utensils like bowl, fleshy, thali, lotta are prepared using metals like brass, copper and zinc. During a conversation with Local 18, he says that first the raw material is heated and molded into the mold according to the pot and then they are finalized. His unit is located in Shamshabad area of Kaushambi district adjacent to Prayagraj, where the prepared goods are supplied.
Participation is available in government fairs and exhibition
Shobhit told that he also gets encouragement from time to time from the government. Whenever craft fairs or exhibitions are organized, they are given the opportunity to display and sell their products. This gives them an understanding of the market and also has direct communication with the customers, which increases the sale of their products.
