In the same series, Susita, a resident of village Kalsi of Gangoh block of Saharanpur, along with her husband, started the work of making soap and detergent powder with the help given by the government.

Demand is coming from outside also

Initially the work was less, but he did not lose courage and gradually started selling his products in the fairs organized by the government. People started taking and using their soap and detergent powder. After finding the product good, people again demanded their product and today the demand for the product is gradually increasing.

Susita is preparing not one or two, but more than 10 types of soaps, which include aloe vera, papaya, multani mitti, cucumber, lemon, orange. At the same time, this soap of Susita is also available at a lower price than other soaps sold in the market. Now Susita has started receiving orders from people from outside also.

Started business with just Rs 2.5 thousand

While talking to Local 18, Susita told that I make homemade soap. I thought that nothing can be done by sitting at home, one should go out and do something. I am also associated with the block, we get funds from the block, with the money that comes, we have started our work and have invested some money from ourselves. We make homemade soap, in which aloe vera, multani mitti, neem, papaya, cucumber, lemon, orange soap are prepared.

He further said that if we talk about other soaps, our soap is completely different from the soaps sold in the market. There is no chemical in our soap, our soap does not have any side effect on the screen, whereas the soap sold in the market causes the skin to become rough. Whereas our soap keeps the skin soft.

This is how much a soap costs

Susita told Local 18 that right now we have a new work and we have sold around 500 to 600 soaps. Once someone has used our soap, he demands it again. Along with soap, we are also making detergent powder. This business was started with two and a half thousand rupees, whereas the price of one soap is only Rs 30.

She told that she sets up her shop in all the fairs organized by the government and she also gets very good orders from that shop. At present, his work is gradually increasing and people from surrounding areas are also coming to buy his soap and detergent powder. Both she and her husband are taking this work forward together.
