Candere and Hurun India have released the first version of the 2025 Candere Hurun India Woman Leaders List, with 97 inspiring Indian women who are bringing changes in areas such as finance, technology, philanthropy, art and start-up.

62 -year -old banker Shanti Ekambram has also finished fifth in the Veteran Woman Leader List, which is being led by 87 -year -old artist Arpita Singh. Ekambram has played an important role in the growth and innovation of Kotak after becoming a deputy managing director in 2024.

In 2013, she received the ‘CA Woman Business Leader of the Year’ Award and the Ladies Wing of the Indian Merchants Chamber named her ‘Woman of the Year’ in banking and financial services for 2013-14.
Ekambaram with Kotak since 1991
