Muzaffarpur. The story of Khushboo Devi, a resident of Rasulpur village of Madavan block of Muzaffarpur, is quite interesting. Khusbu mosquito nets provide employment to 62 women of livelihood group. Khushboo recently attended the National Seminar of NITI Aayog. In which he had put his success story in front of officers and representatives across the country. During this, he also mentioned his struggle to become a millionaire.
The mosquito net of Khushboo Didi associated with Jeevika Group has become popular across the country. Recently, during a program, PM Narendra Modi also praised his work and passion. Khushboo Devi said that with her skills, not only became a millionaire herself, but has made dozens of women self -sufficient. He started this work in the year 2009. After this, in the year 2013, the Ganga group of Jeevika was associated with the trade with its incubation funds.
60 women are getting employment
Khushboo Devi said that she started the pledge mosquito nets. Now she is providing employment to 60 women. Every day, hundreds of mosquito nets are being sold. With this industry and their hard work, the village is being identified across the country. Khushboo says that initially she started this business with only 3 thousand, after which gradually increased her business and now has created a business of 10 lakhs. Due to which more than 60 women from nearby villages get direct and indirect employment.
Jeevika gathered life
The products made from here are sent to all the districts near it including Muzaffarpur. As soon as the cold is over, the demand for mosquito nets becomes quite high. Later, when the demand for mosquito net is low, then the work of making school cloth etc. is found through livelihood. With this, the family of all women runs. Khushboo states that after joining Jeevika, his fate changed and today a new life has been found. Now one does not have to spread hands for money in front of anyone. Herself is earning money and is also providing employment to others.
