He completed his schooling from St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata. He battled depression throughout his teenage life. Later, Sabyasachi Mukherjee took admission in the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Kolkata. In 1999, he started his brand ‘Sabyasachi’ from a small studio in Kolkata. At that time there were only three employees with him. Sabyasachi Mukherjee is not married yet. He is completely dedicated to his work and art.
