Success Story: Hari Sah has set an example of 20 lakh gardening from guava cultivation after the struggle in Chand Kewadi Panchayat of Muzaffarpur, his story is an inspiration for the farmers.
Hari Sah first ran a rickshaw to raise his 4 small children. So that children do not have to stay hungry. Filling the struggles, he slowly started farming on the other’s land and today, he is setting an example in the village and area by becoming the owner of guava garden costing about 20 lakh rupees.
Hari Sah has installed a guava garden in 56 katthas on the land taken on lease in Western Diara area. Seeing their hard work and dedication, farmers of other villages also come to learn from them. They believe that if proper resources and government cooperation is received, then guava cultivation is possible to earn millions. However, the biggest problem in sending crops out of Diara region is the cost of transportation and not reaching the buyers. For this reason, they do not get a fair price.
Farmer Hari Sah believes that if the government supports the farmers in Diara area and cooperate in the transport system, then the farmers of the area can also become financially stronger than fruit production. Currently, he is advancing farming at his level and is engaged in grooming the future of children.
