Ranchi: Deori village of Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand, is famous by the name Aloe Vera Village. Because only Aloe Vera is cultivated in this village. There are about 40 women in this village, who cultivate only aloe vera. Women do not need to go anywhere to sell aloe vera. In fact, big cosmetic companies first sign contacts with them. After this they buy it from the village itself.
It is ready in a week
Gunjan further tells that company agents come here and the even more special thing is that when you cultivate aloe vera, it does not require much water. Just give a little once a day, the job is done. It is completely ready in less than a week.
He told that at least 3 kg of aloe vera can be easily extracted from one aloe vera plant. That means at least 70 kg comes out every week and from this 70 kg we earn up to ₹ 7000. 25,000 to 30,000 a month doesn’t go anywhere. This is just what I am earning in my small place.
Aloe vera is in great demand in the market
In such a situation, there are some women in our village who work on their big farms and earn lakhs of rupees. It is sold for around ₹90 to ₹100 per kg. In such a situation, you can install it comfortably in your home if you have a small space. Because its demand is very high in the market.
Aloe vera is needed in every cosmetic
Today there is no cosmetic company which does not need aloe vera. Many times it happens that we do not have anything to give, we fall short and the company needs aloe vera. If the company sees from a distance that aloe vera is cultivated there, then the companies reach the village and purchase it. There is always demand for it in the market.
