Street Vendor Success Story: Sometimes it is necessary to take risk to do something big in life. If you get success then your seven generations improve, something similar happened with this Pani Tikki seller of Shivpuri, let’s know his success story.
Ashish Pandey, Shivpuri: It is said that if one has courage and hard work then even failure becomes a stepping stone to success. Something similar has been done by a young man from Pichor town of Shivpuri district, who first started a business by running a stall, failed, then took up a private job, but in the end, through his hard work and dedication, not only made himself self-reliant by selling Pani Tikki but also strengthened his family.
Youth Kamlesh Kushwaha told that initially he tried to sell his handmade Pani Tikki by setting up a roadside stall, but the business did not work. After this he took a job in a private company. After some time, when he did not like the job, he again took over his old cart and started working as a pani tikki seller. Gradually the taste of Pani Tikki made by him became famous among the people. Today, the result of his hard work is that he is earning around ₹ 1.20 lakh every month from his small cart. In good days his daily income reaches ₹ 5,000 to ₹ 6,000.
The young man told that earlier he used to work in a private job at a salary of ₹ 10,000 to ₹ 12,000 and was not able to save after expenses every month. But today the same young man is his own master and is living a happy life. He told that he has four brothers, whom he has got started the same work. All the brothers are now earning good income from this business. Local people say that the taste of Pani Tikki made by the young man is so wonderful that people come from far and wide to drink it. Many customers say that if you drink Tikki once, you will not feel like trying another one.
