Neeraj completed his class 12 from Naval Public School, Delhi in 1998 and after that Neeraj studied B.Com from Satyavati College, University of Delhi. When Neeraj started his college studies, his father took him with him to teach him about family business.

At the age of 18, he was sent to Hong Kong to work with his uncle to get practical experience. His life in Hong Kong was focused on importing electronic components from China and then selling them in India.

After the death of his uncle in 2010, Neeraj returned to India and joined the family business. However, working in the country proved challenging for him. He later started his own business in areas such as real estate and power bank, but both faced losses.

He saw that just as Cars24 sells old cars again, similar mobile phones can also be repaired and sold. The same idea introduced Zobox, a startup that repairs and refers to old mobile phones and sells them at cheap prices.
