The factory in which the husband worked, he was closed in Corona. After this he came home. After this, Jayamal Devi took responsibility of the house on her shoulder. Started a small industry. Husband and wife’s hard work increased it. Today, 5-6 women are providing employment.

It is difficult to raise ration after the factory closure

Jayamala Devi is a resident of Mahdali Chowk in Sonpur. Earlier she was unemployed. Her husband used to do jacket stitching in a factory in Ludhiana. At that time Jayamala Devi was working in Jeevika. Meanwhile, Corona epidemic arrived in the country, due to which work started stopping in factories across the country. Millions of people returned to Bihar in unemployed. Meanwhile, Jayamala Devi’s husband also returned home due to his job. In a few days, it became difficult to raise a time ration of the house.

Law loans from livelihood, life changed

Seeing this problem, Jayamala Devi consulted her husband. Got a loan of ₹ 2 lakh from livelihood. With this money, he started an industry. In which jackets were being prepared by her husband. Later, Jayamala Devi also learned from her husband and started preparing jackets. Their business began to grow rapidly and he gave employment to 5 to 6 women, whose livelihood of the house runs from the same industry.

Earnings every month

Talking to Local 18, Jayamala Devi said that she was unemployed earlier. Her husband used to stitch jackets in Ludhiana at that time. His job went away during the lockdown. At that time, she was working in a living. After the husband returned home, it became difficult to raise a time ration due to the lockdown. After this, he took a loan of ₹ 2 lakh from livelihood, which put his industry. After learning from her husband, she also started jacket chest and both people started making jackets and sold. On increasing sales, he gave employment to people in his industry. By deducting the expenses of the month, their earnings are 25 to 30 thousand. He said that now he is living a happy life.
