After working as a cook for 13 years in Banaras, he started a stall with Rs 50,000. Due to the popularity of egg roll and chicken chilli, his shop has become a successful example of identity and inspiration in the area.

The story of hard work, struggle and self-reliance often comes from those people who have shaped their goals amidst limited resources and difficult circumstances. One such inspiring story is of Parasram Sahu, a resident of Chakarbantha, who is earning good income every day through his famous street food shop named Sahu Egg Roll. Parasram had never imagined that a small stall and limited capital would become a means of economic strength and identity in his life.

This stall, which is set up in the local vegetable market in the evening, is especially popular among non-veg food lovers. Parasram provides popular dishes like Egg Roll, Chicken Roll, Egg Omelette, Chicken Chilli, Chow Mein to its customers. Here the highest demand is for egg roll and chicken chilli, whose taste forces the customers to come again and again. The shop operates daily from 4 pm to 10 pm and a good crowd can be seen here during this time.

Talking about the rates, half plate of chicken chilli is available for Rs 70 and full plate for Rs 130. Whereas single egg roll is available for Rs 30, double egg roll for Rs 40 and omelette of two eggs is available for only Rs 30. Along with taste, affordable prices are a big reason for the popularity of this shop. Parasram says that his cooking method is completely based on desi style, due to which the food tastes like home.

Parasram Sahu told that it has been 11 years since he started this shop. Before this, he lived in Banaras for 13 years and worked as a cook in a restaurant. There he gained experience, hard work and practical understanding, which later strengthened the foundation of his own business. Although work was stable in Banaras, being away from family and children was mentally difficult for him.

This concern inspired him to decide to return to Chhattisgarh and start his own business. This cart, which was started at a cost of just Rs 50 thousand, has changed their financial situation today. Parasram says that he earns more than Rs 5000 per day and often the income goes even higher during festivals, holidays or crowded days.
