Vaishali: Vaishali district in Bihar is very famous for new experiments in farming. At the same time, apple cultivation is also being done in Vaishali district. There are many youths who cultivate apple here, who once worked as a manager in a private bank in the country’s capital Delhi, but when their parents became elderly. Then the son left the job of the bank and made up his mind to return home and in 2021 he saw his golden future in farming.
Farming of fruits and vegetables
Anand Prakash, a resident of Baikunthpur village of Rajapakad block of Vaishali district, is cultivating other fruits and vegetables including apples on his ancestral land during the last 5 years. Apple has 100 plants
Let us know that 5 years ago, he planted about 100 apple trees in 3 and a half acres, in which fruits have started coming in about 60 trees from this year. After this year, he estimates that about 4-5 thousand rupees will be easily earned from an apple tree. Along with this, this land can earn crores from this land during the coming 20-25 years.
For this, Anand Prakash has planted 200 mahogany trees, many of which are currently worth about one and a half lakh rupees. He is cultivating apple of 99 breed. The biggest advantage of which is that its fruit is prepared in June and July. Whereas at that time apples of Himachal Pradesh and Kashmir are not in the market.
