Rani tells that even after completing her studies, due to unemployment, she had to hear taunts at home every day – ‘What have you done after studying?’ This taunt became the turning point of his life. Determined to make a change, she formed a team with four women, which included center manager, processing manager, marketing manager and computer manager. With this team he took steps towards entrepreneurship.
Opened processing unit and provided employment to many women
Under the National Livelihood Mission, a fund of Rs 32 lakh was sanctioned to Rani and her team, out of which the first installment of Rs 9 lakh 28 thousand was provided. With this amount, Rani established a pulse packing and processing unit, which opened a new door of employment for the women of the area.
Today about 250 women are earning regular income by joining this startup. They get 10-15% commission based on sales, which is making them financially strong.
