Srikanth Badway, founder of Auto Component, Bellarize Industries, has now joined the club of India’s billionaires. His company Bellariz Industries shares climbed 6.9% to a record high of Rs 164.60 on Tuesday i.e. on Tuesday. With this, the market cap of the company crossed Rs 14,300 crore. The company holds a 59.56% stake in the company. His stake in the company at the current market price has been estimated at around Rs 8,724 crore. The share of Bellarize Industries had a list of Rs 90 in the stock market in May. Today, on Wednesday 24 September, it is trading at Rs 161.45 with a gain of about one per cent on NSE.
Srikanth Badway is an example of a living example that if there is a passion to fulfill a dream and hard work, then it can be done. Budway’s family had no connection with business far and wide, yet he not only set up a company, but has made a place in the list of billionaires of India today.

Start with only three employees
Srikanth Budway’s family had no connection with business. Studied engineering in electronics and telecom. Instead of doing a job, he thought of starting his own business and in 1988, Srikanth laid the foundation of Belarize with just three employees. Gradually this small startup turned into a legendary industry. Today the company has more than 17 factories and employs more than 8,000 people. The annual turnover has been more than Rs 7,000 crore.

Belarize Industries makes parts for two-wheeler, three-wheeler, four-wheeler, commercial vehicles and household applies. Especially parts, which are directly related to security – such as chassis system, suspension system, plastic parts and exhaust systems. This is the reason why Bellariz is making its mark firmly in the electric vehicle market today. Bellarized sheet makes strong parts of the vehicle by pressing and adding the metal. Its market share in two-wheeler parts is 24% and it is among the top 3 companies in India.
Important role in government and society too
Srikanth Badway is not only industrialist but also with the society and the government. He is a member of the Economic Advisory Council of the Government of Maharashtra and also the brand ambassador of campaign like ‘Magnetic Maharashtra’ and ‘Make in India’. Here he is working with well -known faces like Sachin Tendulkar, Madhuri Dixit and Shankar Mahadevan.
