In the holy days of Navratri, the mention of Nari Shakti Sunita Dayal of Ghaziabad is special. Born on 2 October 1958, Sunita Dayal is a senior BJP leader and since May 2023 is the first citizen of the Ghaziabad Municipal Corporation i.e. the city. She was active in politics from student life and started her journey from ABVP. The assembly by -election was also contested in 2004, although she did not win but was constantly active in the organization. After becoming the mayor, he took strict steps like removing encroachment and intensifying the proceedings of the city administration. The public calls him Lady Singham due to his strong image and activism.
Priya Shripal, posted as ACP Wave City in Ghaziabad, is a living example of women power on the occasion of Navratri. This daughter of Santiniketan was born on 2 June 1989 and came to the police service by securing 33rd rank in UPPCS. The first posting of Priya Shripal, an officer of 2018 batch, was in Varanasi and then took responsibility in Ghaziabad. Prior to the police service, he worked nationally and internationally in an American multinational company for five years. Priya wanted to go to civil services since childhood. He is awarded the university topper, gold medalist and Global Woman Achievers Award. Priya believes that the woman has to pay her 200% to reach the same place.
Ghaziabad social worker Priyanka Rana was born on 3 July 1979. Priyanka is the general secretary of Khushi Foundation and is considered a true example of women power on the occasion of Navratri. Despite being MBA and fashion designers, he left the job and chose social service. Priyanka Rana has constantly raised his voice for the education and rights of women and children. He has been awarded the Rani Laxmibai Award, Heroes Next Door Award and Uttar Pradesh Gaurav Samman. He says that the country will move forward only when women and men will walk shoulder to shoulder. Today, in TV debates, she also makes the society aware by speaking on social issues.
Ghaziabad social worker Udita Tyagi was born on 1 July 1978. She became Mrs. India Worldwide in 2011 and then made social service her goal. He has also been honored by the President’s Award, Prime Minister and Chief Minister of UP. Udita Tyagi has started a handloom cluster in Iqla village of Ghaziabad and provided employment to about one thousand women. They say that believe in yourself and think big. There are husbands and two children in the family. Today, she has become the inspiration of the mother power of Ghaziabad in the field of self -reliance and social service of women.
The name of Richa Ballabh Khulbai of Ghaziabad is special as an example of women power on Navratri. Born on 10 August 1984, Richa made social service her life. She is the founder of the foundation Shakti Sanstha and has benefited more than 10 thousand disabled people in the fields of education, health, employment and skill development in the last several years. His efforts not only changed people’s lives but also showed the path of positive change in the society. She has received several awards including women’s empowerment honors. Richa believes that someone has to come forward to change the society.
