New Delhi. Ram Kapoor’s journey starts with an earning of Rs 1000 and reaching assets of Rs 135 crore is not less than an example. Ram started his career with the TV industry where his first salary was Rs 1500 per day, but due to unemployment for a year, he depended on the earnings of wife Gautami Kapoor. The money from Gautami’s hit shows like “Ghar Ek Mandir” handled the family. Then in 2006, superhit serials like “Kasauti Zindagi Ki” and “Bade Achhe Lagte Hain” in 2011 made him a star, where his per episode fees reached Rs 1.25 lakh and became the basis of annual earnings.

Ram not only earned, but also spent the money wisely. He added money in real estate, stock market and long-term investment, including the luxurious home of South Mumbai, Property of Goa-Khandala and Alibag vacation property worth 20 crores. The list of his vehicles is also long with Porsche 911, Ferrari Portophyno, Range Rover and recently 5.21 crore Lamborghini Urus SE. Ram believes that TV stars do not earn as much as film stars, but the hit show can deposit money for 3-4 generations from long earnings and right investment, which they made well.
