Walking from village to village, seeking help from people, he did what many people may not even think. He lost his leg in childhood. The accident occurred due to the truck being hit by a truck while going to school in 2004. After which he lost one leg. However, there was interest in the game since childhood. But while going to play, people were taunted, how will you not play. But without considering his disability as a problem, he started practicing with one leg. Today we have won the gold medal in the international match.
He told that the financial condition of the house is fine. In such a situation, there was no money to join the international game. For which about 85 thousand rupees were required. The financial condition of the house was not such that it could get so much money. After which he started collecting donations. In which the district administration also got support. Then he could participate in this game. Despite being a disabled with one leg, he won the gold medal.
Palamu’s disabled player Rajesh Kumar Mehta proved that no shortage in front of the spirits does not matter. Despite his father’s death in 2013 and weak economic condition of the house, Rajesh did not leave the game with studies. Brothers run a house with paint, while Rajesh has graduated in English Honors. People used to taunt, “You are a disabled, how will you play”, but Rajesh did not give up. In the school, he got a chance by requesting the coach several times and has won 13 medals in the national so far. He proved everyone wrong by winning gold in the international para throw ball.
