Mohammad Sharif Alam, a shopkeeper who sells 18 types of tea, says that after studying Diploma in B.Tech Engineering, he worked in a private job for many years. He had to repeatedly listen to taunts from senior people in his job. Due to which he left the job after a few years and then returned back to his village Purnia.
Selling 18 types of tea
He said that after coming to Purnia, he started his tea shop with the help of his parents. His tea shop is located at Bhutha Mode of Purnia. In this tea shop, he serves 18 different types of teas of different flavors and tastes to the customers including sugar free tea, jaggery tea, regular tea, black tea, cardamom tea, saffron tea, masala tea, basil tea etc.
He said that when he left the job after doing B.Tech Diploma in Engineering, he found it difficult to do the work in the initial phase, but he wanted to do his own employment and wanted to become a master instead of a servant. Due to which he started a tea shop and now 18 different types of teas of different flavors are available in his shop. In such a situation, tea ranging from ₹ 10 to ₹ 60 is served to the customers. Besides, 60 kg of milk tea is consumed daily.
