Priyanshu of Faridabad got All India 13th rank in UPSC CDS 2025

Faridabad: Haryana Police constable Priyanshu posted in Faridabad has created such history, which is being discussed everywhere. With hard work and dedication, Priyanshu has achieved the position which thousands of youth dream of. By securing 13th rank in All India in UPSC CDS Exam 2025, Priyanshu has brought glory not only to Haryana Police but also to the entire state. Even the Police Commissioner congratulated him on his achievement and said that brave soldiers like Priyanshu are the pride of the force.

The path to becoming a lieutenant was not easy

While talking to Local18, Priyanshu shared his story of struggle. He told that he joined Haryana Police in the year 2024. Police duty is 24 hours…sometimes call comes at night and sometimes office duty in the morning. In such a situation, it was not easy to find time for preparation but Priyanshu did not compromise with his goal. Whenever he got a little time, he would sit down with a book. He told that the seniors supported him a lot. When he needed leave, the seniors would cooperate and say…go brother, get ready. On the basis of this support and his hard work, he has reached this position today.

Achieved 13th rank with hard work and dedication

Priyanshu is originally from Sonipat. There are parents in the family and an elder brother, who is also preparing himself. When the news of selection for the post of Lieutenant came, there was a wave of happiness in the entire family. Priyanshu says that I was on duty when my friends told me the result. He said see for yourself, and when I saw that my All India rank was 13, I had tears in my eyes due to happiness. I remembered all that hard work, those sleepless nights. I lost 10 kg weight in 20 days during preparation.

He further told that I was in NCC since college time, so there was no worry about physical. But I worked day and night to prepare for the paper. Many times it happened that I skipped lunch and dinner and studied only by drinking juice. This was my 7th attempt and finally this time my hard work paid off. Now his interview has been cleared and by November he will join the army as a lieutenant. He gave a message to the youth…if you work hard, you will definitely be successful. You should not be afraid of failure, because it teaches you to get up again.

Priyanshu did his early education from a private school in Gohana, Sonipat and did his further studies from Punjab University, Chandigarh. From there he moved towards civil service.

Friends distributed sweets on Priyanshu’s success

His colleagues are also very happy with his success. Friend Mohit, who himself is in Haryana Police, says… I live with Priyanshu. The harder he worked, the bigger the results he got. When the results came, he distributed sweets in Faridabad and we all felt proud. Sagar, who is from Kaithal, says… Priyanshu failed in the beginning but did not give up. He also inspired me to prepare. The third partner Shravan said that Priyanshu is a very calm and hardworking boy. We are proud of his success. It is our wish that he will become a good officer in the service of the country.
