Pinki Devi, who hails from Farrukhabad, told that she was fond of sewing-embroidery since childhood. After marriage, she was looking for some work by staying at home. Then Devendra Singh, associated with the livelihood mission, informed him about the plan. She explained to Pinki Devi that with this scheme she can not only make herself self -sufficient but can also create employment opportunities for other women.

Good earning today
With this inspiration, Pinki Devi formed “Jyoti Mahila Self Help Group” with the help of 10 women. Using the funds received from the government, he bought sewing machines and started tailoring work at home. Today, she has been earning a lot from her home for two consecutive years.

Loan got support
According to Pinky Devi, under this scheme, the group is funded from the government, so that women can start their employment. From time to time, loans are also provided to them at a minimum rate. Women slowly collect this loan back. Hundreds of women are now benefiting from this system and are strengthening their financial condition.

Successful tailoring work today
Currently Pinki Devi is sewing various types of clothes. She prepares sarees, lehengas, blouses, salwar suits, frocks, children’s dress and party wear clothes. In a day, she sews about 4 to 5 pairs of clothes. Due to this, they are earning a lot of earning from home.
