This woman, once limited to home, will now represent Chhattisgarh as a special guest in the Red Fort of Delhi on 79th Independence Day.

Khileshwari Dewangan, who lives a life full of simplicity of village Gabdi in Balod district, is now going to illuminate the name of Chhattisgarh on the national stage.

After joining Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana ‘Bihan’, he prepared a women’s organization and raised financial literacy.

Lakhpati became ‘Lakhpati Didi’ by earning an annual income of millions from activities like poultry, grocery shop, fisheries and fancy stores.

As a financial literacy community source, he played an important role in providing a bank loan of more than 2 crore to women groups of the region.
