Pashchim Champaran Brijkishor earned 30 lakh annually from labor work

The person who has courage even in the harshest situations, God himself helps him. In this article, we are telling you the story of one such youth, who has traveled from a monthly wage of Rs 2000 to earning Rs 30 lakh annually. At the age of just 42, he has created a setup that has provided employment to dozens of people at good salaries. This success story is of Brij Kishore, a resident of Vinvaliya village under Bagaha-2 block of the district.

Wages start from Rs 2,000
Presently Brijkishore is one of the largest hosiery fabric manufacturers in the district. You will be surprised to know that 42-year-old Brij Kishore, who once worked as a laborer in another state on a monthly salary of two thousand rupees, is today earning two and a half to three lakh rupees every month. Due to poverty, Brijkishore had to go out for labor only after passing 10th. But after working as a laborer for 10 years, he achieved something which still seems like a dream to many people.

Started own business in 2016
Let us tell you that Brij Kishore’s father was a small-scale farmer, due to which after passing the matriculation examination in 2001, he had to go out to work as a laborer at the age of 17. During this time, he got a job in a garment factory in Gurgaon at a wage of two thousand rupees. After working for 10 years, Brijkishore’s monthly earnings had become Rs 8 thousand. But the thought of doing something big did not let Brijkishore stop. Meanwhile, one day he left work and came home. After spending some time here and there, in 2016, he bought three sewing machines with the remaining money and started sewing hosiery clothes.

Today we earn more than Rs 30 lakh annually
According to Brij Kishore, at that time he was the only person doing hosiery work in the district. Because of this, the demand for sewing hosiery clothes started increasing. There came a time when in 2022, he set up 10 machines with his own earnings and then in 2023, he set up his own factory by taking a loan from the PMEGP scheme. Today the situation is such that he has given employment to more than two dozen people in his factory. His factory is one of the top 10 factories in the district in the manufacturing of win cheaters, T-shirts, track pants, socks, inner wear, shirts, jackets, sports wear etc.
