Surprisingly, this success has neither their own land nor any animal. Despite this, he took the land on lease and started preparing a high quality vermi compost from nearby farmers and dairy operators.
Anand Aggarwal, a resident of Shahjahanpur city, who has been doing electronic business for the last 25 years. About 2 years ago, the work of making vermi compost on 2 acres of land in Mau Khalsa, adjacent to the city, started. Here now 700 to 800 quintals are producing vermi compost every month. Vermi compost makes them profit from about 40% to 50%.
He also sells the vermi wash that comes out while preparing the vermi compost. During the summer days, about 10 thousand liters of vermi wash is prepared here every month. The price of 25 liters of vermi wash is Rs 250 while the price of 50 liters of vermi wash is Rs 500. Apart from this, the price of 1 kg vermi compost has been fixed at Rs 20, 2 kg vermi compost Rs 30, 5 kg vermi compost Rs 75, 10 kg vermi compost Rs 125, 50 kg vermi compost priced at Rs 400.
Anand Aggarwal ordered earthworms from Meerut to prepare vermi compost. A cost of about 5 lakh rupees had to be charged to start the entire unit. Anand purchases dung from dairy and cowsheds and prepares vermi compost. Vermi compost fertilizers and vermi wash they are prepared by them, people who work as farmers, nursery and use in kitchen gardens come and bring them.
Anand Aggarwal, who made vermi compost, is also providing employment to about a dozen families. Anand Aggarwal says that about 12 people work daily with him to make vermi compost. Anand Aggarwal also gives training to farmers to make vermi compost along with making vermi compost manure. Apart from this, they also provide earthworms to farmers.
