Success Story: Kevalaram Meghwal of Mahabar village of Barmer district of western Rajasthan proved that for success, one should have big intention and not degree. Kevalaram, who studied only till 5th standard, had established “Savita Hastkala Seva Sansthan” in 2017. Started with 20 women, today their organization provides employment to 3500 women. The items made with needle, thread and handicraft skills are reaching foreign countries including America and Japan. This effort of Kevalaram has become a symbol of making rural women self-reliant and making Barmer’s name shine in the world.
