Success Story: Roshan Kumar received 13 lakh package in the post of probationary engineer in BEL after BTech from MIT Muzaffarpur. His success has an atmosphere of celebration and inspiration in the institute.

Muzaffarpur: This is a proud moment for the Mechanical Engineering Department of Muzaffarpur Institute of Technology (MIT). Roshan Kumar, a promising student of the institute, has achieved great success in the post of Probationary Engineer in the country’s prestigious Navratna company Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) on the basis of his extraordinary talent and unwavering dedication. His achievement is not just a job, but in the engineering world, he has got an attractive annual package of Rs 13 lakh. With this magnificent appointment of Roshan, there is an atmosphere of celebration in the entire institute, which tells that the students of MIT are still getting their iron in the corporate world.
Despite the financial crisis, he completed B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from MIT Muzaffarpur between 2020 and 2024 by taking a loan from the student credit card. Despite being selected on a package of Rs 3.6 lakh in Pneumetric Defense Limited in the fourth year, he did not join to maintain a big target. GATE started preparing for the exam. In the first attempt, he passed the gate and enrolled in M.Tech in Manufacturing Science and Engineering in IIT Guwahati.
Change disappointment in hope
He achieved success by appearing in the BEL examination while studying in IIT. Roshan said that this achievement was not possible without the cooperation of his parents, teachers and gurus. He says, during studies, sometimes there was disappointment for not being a question, but the guidance of teachers gave me the power to move forward.
Moment of pride for everyone
Principal of MIT Prof. (Dr.) Mithilesh Kumar Jha congratulated Roshan on this achievement and said that it is a matter of pride for the institute. Mechanical Department Head Dr. Ashish Srivastava said that Roshan’s success is a proof of his hard work and academic excellence of the department. His project guide Prof. Mo. Irshad Alam also expressed pride that Roshan is studying in IIT Guwahati and has now been selected in BEL.
Training and Placement Officer Prof. Deepak Kumar Chaudhary, Registrar Prof. Rajneesh Kumar and all the teachers of the department greeted Roshan. Roshan gives a message to other students that only by honesty and constant hard work towards their goals gives success, so keep the goals clear and hard work continues.
