Darbhanga: Nowadays a lot of people are joining the field of agriculture. Even after doing good studies, people are choosing the field of agriculture in view of more profits. Similarly, Manoj Kumar, a farmer from Darbhanga district, has left jobs in Mumbai and started cultivation of ol in Darbhanga. That too with a completely native way, neither manure nor use of any kind of chemical.

Organic farming method
Manoj Kumar says that the field should be prepared well to cultivate ol. Its crop is done in two ways, either for fertilizer or 100% organic. For organic farming, cow dung or vermi compost and hen beet prepare compost and cultivate it by looking at the manure. This produces bumper crop.

Low cost more profit

Manoj Kumar has cultivated the ol of Rajendra breed, which has good yield and has more profit in low cost. It does not even give bitterness, the way other ol has bitterness. Manoj Kumar says that farming in an organic way not only keeps his health well, but it has also increased his family’s income.
