In the year 2019, Pradeep Kannan, who was working as Operations Head in Oracle Company, suddenly left his job. He decided to say goodbye to the comfortable life of Bengaluru and return to his hometown Karur (Tamil Nadu). There he started a small business named ‘Faluda Shop’.
At that time people called him crazy, but Pradeep was determined to convert his passion into business. Recently Pradeep shared his story on social media platform ‘X’. Pradeep’s story is an example for those youth today who forget their dreams by being tied up in corporate careers.

He wrote that ‘People said I have gone mad, but today after six years my ‘Faluda Shop’ has 18 outlets in India and Dubai.’ Thousands of people commented on his post and praised his courage. One user wrote that ‘Getting out of the comfort zone is the beginning of real success.’
