Launted his own business and started his business
Sarvendra Vikram Singh was the first Field Officer in IFFCO Company. He used to roam the village and village in connection with the work. Then he once saw a small factory, where useful items were being made from soil. Just from here, he got the idea that why not start his own work. He decided to leave the job and do something. He took help from Khadi Village Industries Department, got grant and then started his factory.
This factory of Sarvendra prepares useful items made of clay. This includes many household items including tiffin, embroidery, cooker, water bottle, griddle, bread -keeping box. The demand for these goods is also increasing gradually. They are also safe for the environment and also beneficial for health.
Jokes were also made, but not encouraged
Sarvendra says that when he started this work, many people of the village made fun of him. “Thakur is doing soil work?”, People had to listen to these things. But he never gave up. He says that if youth work by joining the ground level, then success is definitely available. Today the same people who used to make fun of, are now praising.
Sarvendra says that he is earning a net profit of about 50,000 to 60,000 rupees every month. 4 to 5 people have also got permanent employment in their factory. He has further expanded the work by connecting with “Jai Hanuman Self Help Group”. His dream is to make a big factory in the coming days and give employment to more and more people.
Message given for youth
In a conversation with Local 18, Sarvendra said, “I want the youth to do something instead of running after the job. When you start work by joining the ground, the destination gets automatically. Hard work never goes waste.”
Seeing the success of Sarvendra, now the local administration is also busy encouraging such youth. The Khadi Village Industries Department is inspiring more such youths to move towards self -employment.
