Jaunpur: Anand Srivastava of Jaunpur has shown what those who often live in big cities. Leaving the job of IT sector of one lakh rupees a month, he started a gaming startup in his native city Jaunpur. Today, his startup is not only giving him more income than before, but is also showing a new dream to the youth of the district. Now for gaming, the youth of Jaunpur do not have to look towards metros like Lucknow, Delhi or Hyderabad.

This journey of Anand was not easy. He told that while working in IT sector in Delhi, he always wanted to do something creative and something of himself. Gaming was his passion, which was in him since childhood. After coming home, he saw that the youth of Jaunpur also have tremendous interest in gaming, but there is a huge shortage of resources and platforms. Then he decided that he would do something that is also useful for his city.

Anand started his startup ‘Gametack India’. For the first time in Jaunpur, someone took gaming seriously as a career. Anand’s startup not only gives local youth an atmosphere of gaming, but also gives them a chance to participate in training, coding information and live e-sports competitions. Hundreds of youth come to their center every day, who are learning new gaming skills.
The youth of the district are also very excited from this new beginning. Pranjal, who hails from the city, says that earlier we were forced to think that go to Lucknow for gaming or be limited online, but now professional support is being received here.

This bold step of Anand showed that if the intention is strong then even bigger thinking can come out of small cities. Now Jaunpur will not only be known for history and culture, but also for technology and gaming innovation. Taking inspiration from their success, many more youth of the district are moving towards startups. Anand’s next goal is to create a platform where youths can join other districts of Uttar Pradesh and bring revolution in India’s gaming sector. This gaming visionary from Jaunpur has now become an example itself.
