Whenever the name of Indore comes, it is definitely mentioned as the cleanest city of the country, but apart from this, there is mention of 56 shops and bullion which is famous for its cuisine. There is a hot dog shop here which is famous across the country by the name of Johnny Hot Dog. They are in such demand that many big companies have offered them up to Rs 200 crore for franchise.

Vijay Singh of Johnny Hot Dog is not very educated. About 40 years ago, he had set up his small shop here in which he used to sell potatoes packed in tikkis. The specialty of Johnny Hot Dog is that here you get hot dogs made not in oil but in ghee, both are not only tasty but also beneficial for health. Vijay Singh told that his aim is to feed the best hot dogs to the people. Children and old people all come here, it is their responsibility to serve better things to the people.

What is hot dog?
To make this, bread is grilled in oil, potato tikki is placed in between and served with red green chutney and chilli. Some shopkeepers also serve it with extra butter and salt. There is a variant of this in which omelette is used instead of tikki. It’s called Banjo at Johnny Hot Dog.

Received offer of Rs 200 crore
Johnny Uncle told us that till now he has received many offers for its franchise but due to not compromising on the quality of food and the trust of the customers, he has not finalized any deal yet. At the same time, he has also received offers of up to Rs 200 crore from some big companies.
