Shashi Shekhar also did the same and took the risk of opening the footwear unit by leaving the job of 22 lakh annually annually. His decision proved to be correct and today he himself is earning well, as well as providing employment to many people.
Orders of up to 5 lakhs are being received every month
Shashi has done BTech from Manipal Institute and MBA from Chandragupta Management Institute Patna. After this, Tata Advanced System Limited worked on a package of 22 lakhs for 6 years in Hyderabad and Bengaluru campus. Then left all of them and started his footwear startup. Shashi has set up a footwear factory in Sakddi. Shashi says that there were some problems in the beginning, but now everything is slowly coming on track. At present, orders are coming from many parts including Hajipur, Patna, Jehanabad. Orders from some companies have also come, most of which are companies with online shopping. Currently, orders of 3 to 5 lakh rupees per month are coming, which are being completed.
Leather and racines footwear make up to 1200 rupees
Shashi says that the goods are prepared accordingly according to the companies. Currently, footwear of leather and reconstruction is being prepared mainly. Their price ranges from Rs 150 to Rs 1200. These include modern and traditional style ladies and gents slippers, sandals and shoes. Shashi has started production from January this year. They say that there is a lot of potential in Bihar in the footwear sector. Raw materials and artisans are available here at a cheaper rate, but new entrepreneurs shy away from entering this sector. He stressed that if the government cooperates to new entrepreneurs and startups, then the younger generation can take interest in the industry business.
Special focus lives on quality
Shashi said that the startup started, its name is Hepadizine. They say that we are not compromising with quality. Shashi’s factory has 25 skilled artisans, who previously worked in many well-known companies. The artisans have got work at the local level and Shashi has got artisans at cheap rates. During the process of manufacturing, strength and quality are taken care of at every level. Many high -level machines have been installed for this. For better quality of products, the plant has a variety of machines worth about 40 lakh rupees. He has to go through many processes to create a footwear.
A variety of different types of 10,000 footwear are prepared from this unit per month. Shashi says that there are many problems, there is a problem of electricity here. If this problem goes away, the cost will decrease to some extent and production will also increase. There cannot be a bulk trade at the local level, so our focus is on wholesale traders and online selling companies.
