IAS Javed Hussain Story: IAS Mo. Javed Hussain has been appointed Deputy Development Commissioner in Palamu district. He had done remarkable work in urban development and administrative reforms while being a city commissioner in Medininagar.

IAS Mo Javed Hussain is working as Deputy Development Commissioner in Palamu district. Let us know that with the appointment of this officer of Jharkhand cadre of 2019 batch, development works are expected to get new momentum in the district. Earlier, he was working as the Municipal Commissioner of Medininagar Municipal Corporation, where he did remarkable work in urban development and administrative reforms.

Javed Hussain hails from Koderma district of Jharkhand. His father retired from the post of head clerk in the forest department, while his mother is a housewife. He has two brothers and a sister in his family. His elder brother Abid Hussain is an engineer in BSNL. Despite being from a simple background, IAS Javed Hussain achieved an extraordinary place.

The day of 15 February 2019 was very important for Javed. He had an UPSC interview on this day. He was told that most of the questions during the interview were related to Indian Railways and International Affairs. Like a question was asked-If a railway derails, what will you do as an officer? “
Apart from this, questions related to India-China relations, state economy and Parasnath Jain pilgrimage were also asked.

At the end of the interview, the chairman asked him a question. He answered this question in a very effective manner. After this, their luck changed.

IAS Javed Hussain told that by the chairman at the last of the interview, “How will you provide electricity to a remote tribal village?” asked Questions. This question forced him to think, but he gave concrete and practical answers.

He said, the first step will be solar lighting. Then smalls will be found for hydro projects and eventually electricity will be delivered under the PM Electrification Scheme for long -term solutions. Javed Hussain has studied electrical engineering, so he responded effectively to technical questions. His grip on this subject became his biggest strength. They say that the balance of technical and practical knowledge is very important in the examination like UPSC.

IAS Hussain believes that if someone is doing a job and is also preparing for UPSC, then at least two efforts must be made. But if this is not possible, then you have to decide what to leave. A solid strategy is necessary for preparation – such as time management, subject selection and mock interview practice.

While being a city commissioner in Medininagar, Javed Hussain gave impetus to urban development, cleanliness campaign and administrative reforms. His style of work was prominent in transparency, public relations and technology. Now he is playing his role as Deputy Development Commissioner.
