Vaibhav and his two colleagues (Aryan Sisodia and Alap Nair) together have created a smart app that gives information about the crowd of CNG stations nearby in real time. The name of this app is Navgati. Due to this, now you can go to the less crowded station. This will not only save time, but will also save fuel.
Vaibhav Kaushik told in a conversation with Local 18 that once he was going through a cab in Noida during college days, the cab driver said that it has to be in line for hours to fill CNG. Not only this, there is no information about having an empty station nearby. The same thing is so much to Vaibhav that he started working on this problem. After some time, the foundation of the Navgati app was laid.
This app works like this
Navgati app gives information about the crowd of all the fuel stations around in real time. Through this, you can see which station is empty and where the crowd is more. The main product of Navgati is ‘Aaveg’ (earlier it was known as CNG EcoConnect). Through this, fuel companies also handle their stations, machines and service better.
Navgati also made her place in Shark Tank India Season 2 and performed brilliantly. Here it got an investment of Rs 67 lakh, that too instead of 3% equity. With this, the value of the company was estimated at Rs 22.33 crore. After this deal, Navgati got a good recognition across the country.
These companies are connected with newness
Currently, the newness app is live with Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL) and Indian Oil (IOC) in Delhi-NCR. Apart from this, the company is talking to companies like Mahanagar Gas, Gujarat Gas, Adani Gas, Torrent Gas, Green Gas and Maharashtra Natural Gas. People in Mumbai are saving time by pre-booking through this app.
What is the future plan?
Navgati will not be limited to CNG only. In the coming time, it will also be used for petrol, diesel and electric vehicle (EV) charging stations. The company’s target is that in the coming two years, more than 15,000 fuel outlets across the country should be linked to this platform.
