Kannauj: It is said that if the intentions are strong then no path is difficult. Summer Pal of Kannauj city is a great example of this. Earlier, Samar Pal, who works on a minor salary in a company, is running his own business today and is earning more than ₹ 60,000 every month. Not only this, he has set an example by giving employment to others.
Summer Pal used to work in huge auto motors earlier, where he used to get ₹ 21,500 per month salary. But the desire to do something big in life brought him to the PMFME scheme of the District Horticulture Department. After getting information about the scheme, he took a loan on 35% subsidy and started the unit to extract flour mill and oil. Samar Pal, who lives near the RTO office of Kannauj, started this business at a small place. Initially, there were problems, but Samar did not give up. Today, he is also giving employment to a person with a lot of profit from this unit.
The plan changed luck
Samar Pal says that this scheme changed his life. Earlier, where he used to work for someone, now he is his own owner and is also providing employment to other people. He said, “I want to tell the youth to take advantage of such schemes instead of running after the job and start their own business. This will make them self -sufficient and will be able to help others.”
What do officers say?
District Horticulture Officer CP Awasthi said that the PMFME scheme is very beneficial for the youth. Under this, any youth can start business related to food processing. There is also a subsidy of 35% from the department. This scheme is a strong step towards self -reliant India.
