There was no money nor coaching
In a conversation with Local 18, Neeraj says that he comes from a middle class farmer family. His father is a farmer and mother is a housewife. The economic condition of the house was not such that they could be sent to a big city and coaching them. He further told that we did not have money, but was encouraged. In such a situation, Neeraj studied with full dedication and cracked the JEE Advanced Examination.
Staying away from coaching institutes, Neeraj resorted to Internet, YouTube and free online study material for his studies. He says that initially he could not understand what should be the direction of preparation, but after giving JEE Mains exam, he recognized his mistakes and changed the strategy to 10-12 hours of regular studies.
Math and Chemistry are the most preferred topics
Neeraj explains that he likes to read mathematics and chemistry (Math & Chemistry). The same subject remained at the center of their preparation. He says that while reading these subjects, he gets pleasure and this is the reason that his confidence remained continuously.
There is an atmosphere of happiness in his village school due to this success of Neeraj. Teachers, relatives and people of the village are appreciating their hard work. It is a proud moment for his father that his son could achieve such a big achievement without any coaching.
Limited resources can also be dreamed of big
Neeraj’s success is today inspiration for all those students who consider themselves behind due to lack of resources. They believe that if you are determined in the mind, then no dream is incomplete.
An inspirational example from Gonda
