Young Himanshu Verma, who runs an artificial jewelery business in Katra locality of Firozabad, shared his success story with Local 18. Himanshu says that he has been associated with this market for the last 7 years. He studied only till high school, because he was not much interested in studies. Initially he used to work at another shopkeeper for Rs 5,000 per month. During this time, he started dreaming of his own business and gradually started saving money. Himanshu told that he had invested Rs 50 thousand to start an artificial jewelery shop. He had to suffer a lot of loss in the initial phase, but with time the customers started increasing and his business started gaining momentum. Today, at the age of just 22, Himanshu’s business is running smoothly and he is preparing to expand it.

Turnover reached 6 lakhs
Himanshu told that there is always a good crowd of customers at his shop. He is the only youth in this market who runs his own shop at a young age. Customers come to my shop not only from nearby cities but also from far-flung areas. Himanshu also takes orders through online medium. Along with retail, they also do wholesale business. Not only this, they also get online orders from Australia. At present his turnover has reached Rs 6 lakh.
