Rupabh, who is the seventh generation of Madan Lal Halwai, said that this shop was started by his great -grandfather Madanlal in Lahore city of Pakistan. But there came a time when he came from Lahore to Haridwar to get his housemate shaved and suddenly the country was divided from behind, due to which he could never go back to Pakistan and hence he thought of doing something by staying here. He further told that after that his great -grandfather came from Haridwar towards Delhi and then he came to Delhi and started selling some sweets by selling gold coils in his ears and started selling it in Old Delhi. Slowly, he bought a small shop while selling sweets, after which he drove this shop so well that from big politicians to big celebrities became crazy about his sweets.

The biggest thing about this sweets shop is that this is the shop ever since they started, they have never made sweets without desi ghee. At the same time, raspberry to Pinni and many other sweets have been their specialty. Whose crazy people are many big people, especially Bollywood’s big director Imtiaz Ali and like to eat Gulab Jamun of his shop very much. The rates of shop sweets go from at least ₹ 500 kg to ₹ 800 kg. This shop is still present in the name of Madanlal Halwai on Sadar Bazar police station road in Old Delhi. At the same time, the shop is open from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm.
