Chess Player Aarini Lahoti: Arini Lahoti of Delhi became India’s youngest female FIDE-rated player at the age of 5. His name is recorded in India Book of Records. He has performed brilliantly in many national tournaments.

Rini Lahoti, the little chess player of Delhi, has achieved that position at the age of just 5, for which many players work for years. She has become the youngest female FIDE-rated player in India. His rating score is 1551, which is considered a very big achievement at this age.

Rini broke the record of West Bengal player Udhriti Bhattacharya and created a new identity. Due to this special achievement, his name has also been recorded in India Book of Records recently.

He is fond of chess since childhood. At the age of just two, he had learned the tricks of the pieces after watching the game of Magnus Carlsen.

April-May 2025 impressed everyone by participating in the U-11, U-9 and U-7 girls categories at the Delhi State Chase Championship held at Major Dhyanchand National Stadium.

After this, in June 2025, Arini played two consecutive major tournaments in which the National U-07 Championship (Odisha, 1–5 June) and the National U-09 Championship (Haryana, 15–21 June) where she performed brilliantly and made her mark across the country.

Surendra Lahoti is not only the father of Rini, but also his first coach. He inspired the daughter to join the world of chess in childhood. He himself has been an international -level chess player and is currently working as Sports Coach in Bluebells School International, Delhi.
