Ruby Kumari while talking to Local 18 said that she was married in 2010. Her husband Krishnanandan Kumar was a driver, who died in 2013 in a road accident. After this, the situation of the house became very bad.
Meanwhile, she was running the family by cultivating green vegetables. But when the time came to teach the children, the condition of the house became worse.
Meanwhile, some women told her about livelihood. In 2016, he joined Jeevika and took a loan for nursery in 2023 and started the nursery. Ruby told that when she started this work, her mother -in -law refused.
However, Ruby started the nursery by explaining her mother -in -law. Today her mother -in -law is also helping in the work. Ruby told that she has installed nursery in 12 katta land, which is her own land.
There are 13 types of plants available in this nursery, which it sells through a livelihood group. Plants prepared in nursery are sold to women associated with livelihood office at a subsidized price.
Apart from this, the forest department also purchases saplings and pays through livelihood. Ruby has been doing this work for two years and is earning a profit of 4 lakh to 5 lakh rupees every year.
Right now he has other plants including mango, litchi, guava, papaya, lemon, amla, jackfruit, teak, mahogany, Arjun. Apart from this, Ruby also cultivates green vegetables and animal husbandry.
