Success Story: Anandi Devi started a pickle industry in Basadila village with training and loan from livelihood. Create more than 15 varieties. Their ethics is quite popular in Dubai including the country. He has also given employment to many women.
New life got from livelihood
Anandi Devi said that after joining Jeevika, she was trained to make pickles. After training, he took a loan from Jeevika and started the work of making his own pickle. Today she makes more than 15 types of delicious pickles like mango, tomato, mushroom, lemon, chilli and jackfruit.
The popularity of Anandi Devi’s pickle is not limited to Bihar only. She sets up stalls at the Saras Mela and Sonpur fair held in many parts of Bihar and also sends her products across the country on the order. The most important thing is that people living in Dubai also demand their pickle and buy and take them on a large scale.
Great success from small work
Anandi Devi told that with this work she has supported her family and is also giving higher education to children. One of his son works abroad after engineering, one daughter is studying medical and the other son is preparing for civil service in Delhi. Anandi says that no work is small or big, if it is done by applying heart, then you definitely get success. With his hard work and dedication, not only the future of his family is adopted, but has also become an inspiration for other women.
