Sunil Mehta of Koderma became Sanitary and Food Inspector in the Jharkhand government.

Koderma: It is said that those who go ahead by learning from failures, they achieve success one day and set a new record. Something similar has been done by Kisan Shakti Mehta, resident of Masnodih Panchayat of Domchan Block in the district and Sunil Mehta, son of homemaker Shakuntala Devi. On the strength of hard work and determination, he has increased the value of the district by achieving success in the post of Sanitary and Food Inspector of the Urban Development and Housing Department, Government of Jharkhand. In a special conversation, Sunil Mehta said that his early education was done by the village’s state -run school Behradih. After this, he completed matriculation from CM High School and intermediate and graduation from JJ College. After this, he completed PG Diploma from Haryana.

Merit list not discouraged when it is not named in the merit list
He told that no one in his family was in government service till now. Dreaming of doing a government job since childhood, he started preparations from the year 2018. During this, he tried about 20 times in various competitive examinations including the Government of Jharkhand and Railways. Despite reaching the final stage in the railway NTPC examination, he was not discouraged due to non -name in the merit list. While staying in Hazaribagh, parents and siblings always inspired them to continue efforts with hard work and honesty.

Will do effective work for people’s health

Even after failing about 20 times, the result of continuous efforts was that he succeeded in the post of Sanitary and Food Inspector. Sunil says that adulterated food is the main cause of increasing diseases in today’s time. The Jharkhand government has restored the Food Safety Officer to stop this. After receiving training from the department, they will try to do effective work towards preventing adulteration according to the rules.

Wife got together after marriage
He told that in April 2025, he was married to Karishma Kumari. Who supported every step in their preparation. Even after success, Sunil has not considered his studies and preparations to end here. His next goal is the Jharkhand Public Service Commission exam. For which they will continue preparing. The achievement of Sunil Mehta has not only fulfilled the dream of his parents, but has also made the district proud.
