Even NSA Ajit Doval has respected Sandhya. It is said about the company that he is the emperor of the world of sensors. In a special conversation with Local 18, Sanidhya told that he did his schooling from St. Michael School in Satna. After this, he completed both BTech and MTech in Electrical Engineering from IIT Madras in 2025. He became the co-founder and CEO of Folleum Sensing Private Limited during his studies.
The startup of the company is based on optical fiber sensing. He told, there are two types of sensors, one point sensor and the other distributed sensor. Optical fiber is common for internet and communication, but it is being used for the first time for sensing. This technique is the result of 25 years of research, which was possible with the help of professors in the labs of IIT Madras. At the same time, it also includes five patents of the company.
25 crore valuation in a year
The company started on 6 August 2024, whose head office is in Chennai. Its valuation has reached Rs 25 crore in just one year. It is expected that it can become a unicorn in a year. During this time Santidhya won several awards, including 25 National Awards. These include Emerging Entrepreneur Award Under 25, Google Future X CEO Award, IIT Madras Alumni Association Award and Recently MHRD’s Youth Icon of the Year Award Under 25.
Sandhya says that there was a supportive atmosphere in the house since childhood. After 12th, he stayed in Kota and prepared for IIT. Today, 25 employees are employed in his company. He believes that any goal can be achieved through correct guidance and dedication.
Will monitor India’s border
There are three main functions of this technique in which sound, temperature and strain have to be sensed. Sanidhya said that its first 18 crore major project was with Gayle Company, in which oil and gas pipeline leakage is being sensing. The second project is with the Indian Army, in which he recently met National Security Advisor Ajit Doval on the Indo-China border and received respect. Now they will monitor the border.
The third project is of monitoring of railway and roadways bridges across India, in which any danger will be known one and a half kilometers in advance with the help of optical fiber -related technology. At the same time, another project of Sanidhi is going on with Tata Steels, in which mines monitoring is being done. Apart from this, conveyor belts of various companies are being monitored, which is improving both production and security.
Developed India part of 2047
Sanidhya believes that his work will be helpful in giving momentum to PM’s developed India 2047 mission. This technology is completely Make in India, Made for India and has 35 patents, of which 15 are international. Their vision is that with this technology, every sector of the country should be strengthened and India’s economy should be brought to new heights.
