Ajay Kumar says that he had taken a loan under the Pradhan Mantri Udyog Yojana of Rs 15 lakh and started a business to build a statue of Lord Ganesha. Today, he is employing more than 15 people and also earns well every year. He has five disabled artists who work to make a statue of Lord Ganesha.

Artist Ajay Kumar Ahire says that if any person brings a photo in front of me and he speaks of making the statue, then I prepare the statue in 15 to 20 days. I also make big statues of 10 to 15 feet. Along with the district, the people of Maharashtra also make idols by giving orders at me.
