A one -time famous television actress is a successful businesswoman today. Aashka started a beauty brand called Renee Cosmetics, which is moving very fast. He was born on 27 November 1985 in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Since childhood, he had a passion to do something different.

His television career started with ‘suddenly 37 years later’ in 2002, but he got his real identity in 2003 from playing the role of ‘Kumud’ in Sony TV show ‘Kusum’. After this she appeared in many big shows – such as ‘Sindoor Tere Naam Ka’, ‘Lagi Tujhse Lagan’, ‘Veer Putra son of India – Maharana Pratap’, in which her negative role was highly appreciated. For this, she also received the Best Actress in Negative Role Award in 2013. He worked in many popular shows like ‘Naagin’, ‘Naagin 2’, ‘Witch’, ‘Balveer’, ‘Shubh Vivah’ and ‘Kahin To Hoga’.

In 2018, Aashka, along with her college’s friends Ashutosh Valani and Priyank Shah, started Renee Cosmetics. These are the same two friends who first made the Beardo brand. In 2019, Aashka quit acting and in 2021 he officially announced retirement. The Renee brand was launched in 2020 and includes things like lipstick, eyeliner, 3D eyelashes and a special 5-in-1 lipstick Fab 5. The special thing of this brand is that it is a crew-free and vegan, that is, there is no testing on animals.

Renee made a distinct identity in the Indian beauty industry in a very short time. Renee’s valuation reached 834 crore by 2022 and Rs 1200–1300 crore by 2025, competing with big brands like Nykaa and Sugar. He has so far raised an amount of $ 36 million (about Rs 300 crore) in 4 funding rounds. Now this brand is also being expanded in countries like UAE, USA and Australia. Their Princess By Renee’s product line is specially designed for young children, which is dermatologically tested and toxin-free.

Product in the name of friends

Aashka named many of her products after her close friends (Juhi Parmar, Mouni Roy, and Abigel Jain), giving the brand a personal identity. Today, more than 200 products of Renee are available at Amazon, Flipkart, Nykaa, Myntra and more than 650 offline stores. Aashka’s dream is that one day Renee became a globally identified Indian brand.

Aashka married American Yoga trainer Brent Gobale in 2017 and now both live in Goa. In 2023, he gave birth to son William Alexander. She is a fitness addict and often shares yoga workout video with her 1.2 million social media followers. She believes that the movement is is medicine, that is, keeping the body active is the best medicine.
