Rahul Singh was born in Durg district of Chhattisgarh. In the year 2001, he completed his 12th grade from a government school. After this, the National Institute of Technology, did B.Tech from Surat. After BTech, he did his MBA from XLRI – Xavier School of Management, Jamshedpur. After doing MBA, Rahul started the job.
Business started quit jobs
Rahul quit his US job in the year 2019. He, along with Arvind Ganesan, started the Ecosol Home in 2020 to create environment-friendly products. Arvind had more experience in brand management, marketing and supply chain operations for more than 15 years. Rahul and Arvind started the Ecosol Home by investing 4 crores. Rahul made his full earnings for investment of 4 crores. He also sold his house in New York.
Started the manufacturing unit of Ecosol Home at 5,000 sq ft in Tumkur, Karnataka with 25 employees. Initially, he had to face a lot of difficulties. They used to make kitchen products with bamboo, sugarcane lost and palm leaves. Along with raw materials, it was difficult to sell them as chopping boards made from bamboo and leaves were not using serving uttensils, plates and bowls. Rahul and Arvind worked hard to popularize their eco-friendly products. His struggle brought color.
Business spread in 7 countries
According to Ecosol’s website, today the company’s business is spread over more than seven countries. The company manufactures more than 1800 products. The company has more than 50 retail stores in India. The company today makes eco -friendly cups, plates, glasses and many products that come home. The turnover of the company is close to Rs 300 crore today.
