People shocked to hear the price of cow
This young man bought a cow of a Gir breed of Bhavnagar dynasty for about Rs 1.50 lakh. Initially, people got this price more, but as the cow started giving milk, everyone’s opinion changed. This cow gives milk twice daily and up to 8 liters every time, ie a total of 16 liters per day.
The milk of this cow of Gir breed is not just much, but its quality is also excellent. It contains 5.5% to 6% fat, due to which its market price is much higher than normal milk. The farmer sells this milk from 60 to 70 rupees per liter, which is 20-25 rupees more than local milk.
Customers are up to hotels, sweets and jewelers
The highest demand for this milk is among those who understand the taste and quality of food. Hotels, curry makers and even jewelery traders need this milk. The fragrance of milk, thick butter and purity make it special.
About 450 to 500 liters of milk is sold every month, due to which the young man earns 25,000 to 30,000 rupees. With this earning, he not only takes the expenses of his house, but is also able to take better care of the cows.
Gir breed care is an art
The cattleman admits that it is a skill to raise cows of Gir breed. These cows need good fodder, clean water, green grass and nutritious grains on time. Also, medical checkup and correct use of medicines is necessary from time to time.
Production increases with health
According to the cattle rearers, if the cow is taken properly, it falls less and gives more milk for a long time. This special cow is from the Bhavnagar blood line, which is considered the strongest and high quality line of the fall.
