RAS Success Story: Brother and sister, belonging to a small village in Sirohi district, created history in RAS examination. Both have secured first and second position respectively in TSP category. This achievement has brought a wave of happiness not only in the family but in the entire area.
Sirohi: In the results of RAS 2023 examination released by Rajasthan Administrative Service Commission, two brothers and sisters from the same village of Sirohi district have created history by achieving success. The success achieved by both the brother and sister through self-studies in this examination without any coaching has become a source of inspiration for other candidates as well. There is a wave of happiness in the entire village due to the selection of both the youth.
Jayesh Prajapat, a resident of Maval village of Abu Road tehsil of the district, told Local 18 that it was his first attempt in the IAS exam, in which he got the first rank in TSP in the whole of Rajasthan and his real sister Kamini Prajapat got the second rank in TSP.
Elder sister is GST Assistant Commissioner in Rajsamand
Newly selected RAS Jayesh Prajapati told that his parents and his sister have made a special contribution in his success. His sister Kamini Prajapati is currently posted as State GST Assistant Commissioner in Rajsamand district as an RAS officer. Kamini has been selected in the RAS examination for the third consecutive time. Both brother and sister have also been selected in the RAS examination of 2024, the interview for which is yet to be held. His father Prabhulal Prajapati is working as Postal Assistant in Abu Road Shantivan Post Office, while mother Kanta Devi is working as ANM in Vasra village.
Gave mock interview in Jaipur
Candidate Jayesh told that to prepare for RAS, he took the help of self-studies. He prepared with the guidance of his sister, NCERT books and online material. After this, he gave mock interviews in Jaipur just for the interview. Which helped him a lot.
