Spices Business Success Story: Ranjana Shukla of Gonda started spices business with just Rs 1500 and today her annual turnover has reached Rs 1.5 lakh. Today she is also providing employment to many women and has become an example for others with her skills.
Gonda: It is said that if intentions are strong then even a small beginning can turn into big success. Ranjana Shukla of Gonda has proved this to be true. His small spice business, which started from his home kitchen, has today become a source of income worth lakhs of rupees. Ranjana, who was once a teacher in a private school, has today not only become self-reliant but is also providing employment to many women.
Got full support from family
Ranjana told that she got full support from her husband and son in the beginning of the business. Even today both of them are supporting him, due to which his work is going on in a better way.
Teacher turned entrepreneur
Ranjana tells that after studying MA, she worked as a teacher in a private school. But then he thought of doing something new, which would not only benefit him but could also provide employment to other people. With this thought he started the spices business.
Started with just Rs 1500
Ranjana tells that she started this business with only Rs 1500. First of all he started with turmeric and coriander powder and gradually started manufacturing the rest of the spices. Now she buys raw materials from the market and prepares spices at home.
Earning of Rs 10,000 to 15,000 per month
At present Ranjana is earning around Rs 10,000 to 15,000 every month. Their annual turnover is between Rs 1 to 1.5 lakh. Besides, she is also inspiring other women to stand on their own feet.
